Marshall® DSL100    Power Supply & Overdrive Mods

DSL100 Replacement Output Transformer

The following modifications were done to a Marshall JCM2000-Series DSL100 amplifier:

  • Removing and replacing the output transformer with a Mercury Magnetics Axiom MAR100-OM (left).

  • Adding a Mercury Magnetics power-supply choke (MAR100-C).

  • Changing the value of the Overdrive channel's treble-bleed capacitor, C12, aka C17.
