Ampeg® SVT Classic    Shuts Itself Off

Ampeg SVT Classic, front The Culprit
Ampeg SVT Classic, rear

This Ampeg SVT Classic would work for a couple moments and then shut off.  The Standby-Power-Fault LED would turn from green to flashing red.

The 6550 output tubes tested good.  At that point, you need to troubleshoot the problem at the circuit board level.
