The Culprit



This Ampeg SVT Classic (SVT-CL) would work for a couple moments and then shut off.  The Standby-Power-Fault LED would turn from green to flashing red.

The 6550 output tubes tested good so we needed to troubleshoot the problem at the circuit board level.
